Abstract

Improvements in fastening element loads, characterized in that the load comprises: a plurality of juxtaposed and substantially identical fastening elements, at least one part of each element having a notch aligned with the notches of the same part of the other elements of the load to collectively define a keyway that runs the length of the load; and a flexible filament-like key extending through said keyway and inserted with strong friction therein, the parts of said key extending through each notch having a dimension greater than the notch to releasably engage said fastening elements forming a semi-rigid and substantially self-supporting load.
