Abstract

1,111,775. Counters. N. P. HOYER. 28 Nov., 1966 [29 Nov., 1965], No. 53072/66. Heading G4D. Each wheel 1a of a counter carries a permanent magnet 5 which closes the adjacent one of a set of contacts 7 on a stator 6 corresponding to the several digital positions of the wheel. The counter is suitable for indicating liquid level in ships carrying inflammable cargoes, the contacts then being of sealed magnetic reed type, and a reading being provided on a remote panel.
