Abstract

1,197,531. Door seals; stud and socket fastenings. PARKINSON COWAN Ltd. 13 June, 1969 [13 June, 1968], No. 28113/68. Headings E1J and E2B. [Also in Division F4] A door seal comprises a tube 3 of flexible material enclosing a rigid strip 4 having bridges or humps 5 pierced out of the strip. Resilient lips 6 have prongs 7 which penetrate the tube 3 to engage behind the bridges 5, and co-operate with holes 2 in the door or frame to secure the seal. The holes 2 are countersunk to accommodate the bridges 5.
