A resilient sealing strip for sealing gaps between relatively sliding parts of doors, and windows comprises a cross-sectional form which consists in integral and contiguous relationship, of a head portion 15 to contact one of the two relatively sliding parts and an enlarged base portion 17 adapted to be secured in a groove in the other of the said two parts, the exposed surfaces of the strip being covered with a pile.
