Abstract

1,194,445. Toy building element. Y. KISHI. 14 Nov., 1968 |[18 Nov., 1967], No. 53969/69. Heading A6S. A toy building element integrally moulded from a synthetic resin comprises a hollow block having a pair of opposed side walls, a pair of opposed end walls, an upper wall and a plurality of projections 12 extending from the outer surface of said upper wall, the interior of the block being divided by a lattice 14 into a number of cells, corresponding in number to the number of projections 12, and projections 15 extending from said lattice into said cells, so that when two elements are superposed, the projections 12 of one element are received and frictionally retained within a cell of the second element. The lower edges of the projections 15 may extend below the lower edge of the latice.
