Abstract

1,162,164. Brassieres. EXQUISITE FORM INDUSTRIES Inc. 23 Aug., 1966 [5 May, 1966], No. 37834/66. Heading A3V. A brassiere comprises an elastic strap 38 extending round the lower edge of the cups 16 and side panels 18 to a releasable fastening 24 at the rear of the garment, the effective length of the strap being variable by means of a hook on each free end selectively engageable with eyelet holes 52, each free end being passed through a slot in its respective member of the fastening 24 and through a loop 60 of its respective shoulder strap 26. The straps include elastic portions 58.
