Abstract

[Also in Division F1] The narrow neck of an hydraulic accumulator bladder 14 has a channel-sectioned head 15 in which is located a rigid steel ring 65. The bladder neck is clamped between an annular disc 21 and a plate 31 by a nut 39 screwed on a hollow stem 22 of the disc 21 and which extends through a port 12 in an outer shell 11 to which it is clamped by a nut 52. The stem serves to admit compressed air to the bladder through a sintered bronze filter 25. A resilient spacer 46 surrounds the nut 39 and plate 31. Reference has been directed by the Comptroller to Specification 916,166.
