1391529 Pipe couplings LA SPIROTECHNIQUE 19 May 1972 [21 May 1971] 23801/72 Heading F2G The inlet pipe 14 of a pressure reducer (12) has a screw-thread 34 to accept an adapter ring 42, which enables it to be coupled with outlet 36 of the valve of a cylinder of compressed gas. A ring nut 26 is screwed into a yoke 50 to seal the coupling. The pipe 14 can, alternatively, be connected, without the ring 42, to an internally screw-threaded cylinder valve outlet (22, Fig. 2, not shown).
