Abstract
1,097,690. Hydraulic accumulators. GREER HYDRAULICS Inc. July 30, 1965, No. 32814/65. Heading F1P. The narrow beaded mouth 16 of a hydraulic accumulator bladder 14 is bonded to an annular groove 32 on the upper side of a rigid disc 21 having an axially bored stem 21 projecting through a port 12 of the outer shell (11) Fig. 1 (not shown) and having a reduced diameter portion 29 surrounded by a resilient spacer member 33 between the bladder mouth 16 and the shell wall, and the spacer member has an inner peripheral bead 34 which when uncompressed projects above a shoulder 30 formed by the stem portion 29. The stem is secured to the shell by a nut 46 and the inner end of the stem bore opens into a cavity 24 in the disc 21 housing a porous bronze plug 25.
