Abstract

1,158,625. Connection to structural channel members; partitions. V. M. J. BREMERS [trading as INTERlNATTONAL-TRADING- GO "DELTALAND"]. 22 July, 1966 [23 July, 1965], No. 33122/66. Headings E1K and E1W. Structural means comprises at least one sheet metal channel member provided with inturned side walls, the inturned side wall portions 22, 23, Fig. 5 lying parallel with the side walls 15, 16 and each carrying a terminal flange 18, 19 which flanges extends to- ' wards and are spaced from each other to form a slot, and one or more further components 14 secured thereto each by a bolt 25 passing therethrough into an oblong nut 21 which is narrower than the slot and of a length to engage under the flanges 18, 19, the further component fitting between the inturned side wall portions 22, 23. The further component may take the form of an angle bracket for connecting two such channel members at right angles to each other Figs. 18, 19, 20 (not shown). The open sides channel members may be fitted with finishing strips 69, Figs. 15 (no; shown). The nuts 21 may have retaining springs 38, 39 Fig. 5 or 45, 53, 57, Figs. 8-16 (not shown). Partition panels 108, 109 Fig. 20 may be secured to the channel member by a gutter 105 secured by a bolt 102 engaging the nut 21.
