Tray shaped metal wall or ceiling tiles 1 have at least two opposite edges bent to form outwardly facing U section channels 4. One edge or the other pair of opposite edges has an outwardly projecting portion 5. The tiles are suspended from walls and ceilings by spaced T-bars the flanges of which engage the channels. The T-bars may be one, two or three tiles apart.
