Abstract

1,148,118. Condenser microphones. TESLA NARODNI PODNIK. 7 Dec., 1966 [10 Dec., 1965], No. 54803/66. Heading H4J. A unidirectional condenser microphone has its diaphragm 1 secured to the front of a casing 2 and is provided with a fixed electrode 3 located behind the diaphragm 1 and having one or more bores 5 mating with one or more bores 8 in an insulating plate 9. The casing 2 has one or more radial bores 4 each connected to a radial groove 6 in the insulating plate 9. The radial grooves 6 lead to an annular space 7 to which are connected the bores 8. The annular space 7 is provided in a rear wall 10. The electrode 3 is preferably of electret material, e.g. ceramic.
