Abstract

1,032,588. Cushions. K. R. V. MAGNUSSON. April 17, 1964 [Aug. 26, 1963], No. 15974/64. Heading A4M. A cushion, especially for winter use on a car seat, comprises an intermediate layer '17 of heat insulating cellular plastics material, e.g. polystyrene, having a continuous skin 18, 19 on both sides, a lower layer 16 of wear resistant material such as coated fabric, and an upper layer 15 of textile material. The cushion 3 is provided with hook 6 carrying securing straps 4, 5, which may be -of elastic material, which are attachable to bars 2 on the underside of the seat. The front straps 5 are attached to a flap 7 extending down the seat front. A back cover cushion portion 8 is provided.
