Abstract

1,144,682. Helmet liners. W. E. SCHUESSLER and H. R. WICHMAN. 6 Sept., 1966 [14 Jan., 1966], No. 39790/66. Heading A3V. A fabric lining 12 is detachably connectible to a helmet by means of clips 16 on a harness 11 which are passed through holes 20 in the lining and then engaged with complementary members 14 on the helmet. The lower portion of the lining, which is preferably of knitted fabric, may be turned up within the helmet in use.
