A hose-coupling, particularly for fire hose, of the kind comprising a coupling body 1 and an externally tapered sleeve 3 fitting within the hose 2, the hose and sleeve fitting within a tapered passage in the coupling body such that tension on the hose tightens the coupling has studs 4 attaching the hose to the sleeve, the beads of the studs being situated between the sleeve and the coupling body and the shanks of the studs being received in apertures in the sleeve.
