1,028,978. Mixing-machines. APEX CONSTRUCTION Ltd., and W. C. PECK. March 25, 1963 [March 26, 1962], No. 11454/62. Heading B1C. In a powder mixer conprising a mixing vessel 1 rotatable about a substantially horizontal axis 13 and having cylindrical or frusto-conical portions 2, 3 which communicate with each other and at a junction of substantially circular crosssection with a cylindrical or frusto-conical portion 4, the axes of the three portions lie is a common plane 14 inclined to the axis of rotation 13 of the vessel (see Fig. 2 not shown). Charging plates 5, 6 and a discharge plate 7 are provided.
