Abstract

1,39,682. Mixing-apparatus. FREDERICK PARKER Ltd. April 3, 1964 [April 4, 1963], No. 13302/63. Heading B1C. A paddle mixer comprises two sets of paddles wherein at least some of the blades are backwardly tilted to impel material outwardly from the mixing trough 1 when a discharge aperture 7 is uncovered. As shown the blades of each set form parts of an interrupted helix but the blades of the end paddles 11<3>, 12<3> need not be tilted. The trough is cut away at 6 to facilitate charging.
