A rotary stirrer for liquids flaring in a pipeline has circular endplates 2 with wires or rods 1 arranged round their circumference and parallel to the axis of rotation, and additional wires or rods 3 in planes E 1-4 parallel to the axis and cutting the cylinder thus formed. There are perforations 7 in the endplates.
