Abstract

1,025,668. Soldering. RHEINMETALL G.m.b.H. March 12, 1965 [March 12, 1964], No. 10658/65. Heading B3R. [Also in Division F3] An electric cartridge primer has a metal body 1 with a stepped bore housing an insulating sleeve 5 surrounding an anvil 6, the anvil being bored to receive a hollow steel electrode 9 held in place by solder 7. During assembly the solder 7 may be introduced in powder form through the electrode 9 and the anvil 6 then heated to fuse the solder.
