Abstract

1,090,072. Nozzles. COOPER McDOUGALL & ROBERTSON Ltd. April 27, 1964 [April 25, 1963], No. 16384/63. Heading B2F. A nozzle suitable for use with an aerosol container comprises a tube 1 provided with a central passage and a surface 4 surrounding the discharge orifice, which surface is at an angle not exceeding 80‹ to the longitudinal axis of the tube. The angle preferably does not exceed 75‹ and a planar land 3 not exceeding 0.01" in radial extent may be located between said surface and the said orifice. In one example the orifice 2 has a radius of 0.0225" and the land has a maximum radial extent of 0.005". The nozzle may be of brass or a plastics material such as polyamide.
