Abstract

1,088,298. Flexible chamber pumps. MUIRHEAD & CO. Ltd. July 4, 1966 [Aug. 26, 1965], No.36631/65. Heading F1A. A pump comprises flexible tubes 2 engaged by presser plates 5 on opposite sides of a cam 7. The opposite tubes have separate inlet and outlet valves so arranged that liquid may be circulated between two containers disposed at opposite ends of the pump. The opposite tubes 2 may each comprise pairs of side by side tubes and one presser plate 5 (as shown, the upper) may be longer than the other to obtain greater flow through that tube or pair of tubes.
