Abstract

1,241,547. Fuel injection pumps. C.A.V. Ltd. Oct.25, 1968 [Nov. 6, 1967], No. 50291/67. Heading F1A. In a fuel injection pump substantially of the type described in Specification 1,223,118, but for a six cylinder engine with unequal firing angles, the cam has two sets of three equiangularly disposed lobes, corresponding lobes of the respective sets being spaced at 45 degrees from each other, the inlet ports 30, 31 are spaced at 45 degrees and the three inlet passages 26 are equiangularly disposed so that injection occurs at unequal intervals of distributer angles of 45 degrees and 75 degrees alternately.
