1,078,570. Handle and Reel Support Assemblies for fishing rods. DEUTSCHE ANGELGERATE MANUFACTUR (DAM) HELLMUTH KUNTZE. Dec. 19, 1963 [May 10, 1963], No. 50250/63. Heading A1A. A handle and reel support assembly for a fishing rod 7 comprises a reel support 4 having a T-shaped foot, the arms 5 of which are secured within the handle 2 and covered by soft rubber elements 16, 17. The arms 5 abut a tube 6 which is secured to the rod 7, by a pin 10, together with a cork cylinder 15 and a flared metal sleeve 8.A cap 13 screwed on to a threaded extremity 14 of the tube 6 retains a further flared metal sleeve 9 and a further cork cylinder 15. A spring (not shown) may be used to clamp the parts together.
