[Also in Division F1] In a syringe for corrosive liquids (see Division F1), a hollow plunger 13 is provided with a resilient skirt 33, e.g. of P.T.F.E., expandable by a frusto - conical member 36 attached to a rod 37 extending through plunger 13 and biased outwardly by a spring 38 adjustable by a nut.
