1,078,200. Knitting-machines. WILLIAM COTTON Ltd. Dec. 22, 1964 [Dec. 27, 1963], No. 51074/63 Heading D1C. Hooks 9 are provided on the sides of the knocking-over bits and serve to hold the fabric down and the loops against the needle stems when the needles are raised particularly at the selvedges. In addition the hooks 9 serve to hold the loops about the needles during fashioning and during the production of tuckwork.
