Abstract

1,073,820. Seats. M. DELIEUVIN. Dec. 3, 1965 [Dec. 7, 1964; Oct. 21, 1965], No. 51382/65. Heading A4J. A seat comprises a support chassis consisting of elements 1, 1 which may be swung about a line a-a and a seat body having two faces 9, 10 of unequal lengths which can assume alternately the functions of a seat proper and a back rest. A framework for the seat body is constituted by a shell 2 of moulded plastics material including longitudinal ribs 8, Fig. 4 (not shown), which give the seat a longitudinal reinforcement but a transverse resilience. Shell 2 is covered with upholstery 3 which may be of foam plastics material.
