Abstract

1,065,611. Supporting closet pans. FINCHFROY Ltd. and J. A. OTTREY. Feb. 4, 1964 [Feb. 4, 1963], No. 4549/63. Heading E1C. In a soil or waste pipe or part thereof having a stem 19 and an inlet branch 20 to connect to a toilet pan, the stem 19 has a portion above its connection having rigid lugs to support (a) bracket(s) 24 to carry an off-the-floor pan 10. The lugs are integral with the stem 19 and preferably comprise a flat plate 22. There are preferably two brackets 24, in the form of substantially straight members. The pan 10 comprises a bowl 11 and a flange 12 around it and resting on the brackets 24 on which it is bolted at 26 or otherwise fixed. The pan 10 is flushed through the pipe 15.
