Abstract
922,818. Bidets; water-closet pans; washbasins. ARMITAGE WARE Ltd. Dec. 29, 1961 [Jan, 2, 1961], No. 17/61. Class 26. A cover for concealing the supply and/or waste pipes fitted to a toilet basin, e.g. a bidet 10, of the kind having a pedestal 12 behind which are the pipes forms a continuation of the pedestal 12 and extends from floor level to the underside of a platform 11 (Fig. 2). In one method of fixing the members 17, 18 in place (Fig. 4) a stay 19 extends across and between them and is releasably connected to caps 20 as shown. In a second method (Fig. 5) each member 17, 18 has an apertured recess through which a screw 21 is engaged with the floor. There are hot and cold water taps 13, 14 and an outlet controlled by a valve operable by a contact 15, and if desired a douche with further taps and valves.
