Abstract

1,056,714. Safety harness. OSMOND & OSMOND Ltd. Sept. 7, 1965 [Nov. 16, 1964], No. 46513/64. Heading A3V. [Also in Division E2] Safety harness particularly for infants comprises shoulder straps 3 formed by a single strap secured at its ends to the front of a waist band 1 and passing freely through a slotted member 6 described and claimed in Specification 1,056,715 at the the back of the band. A roller 8 is associated with the slot 7 and the member 6 may also form fastening means for the waist band, buckles 13 on the ends 2 of the band being fitted over slotted portions 11 of the plate and an extension 14 of one end 2 being threaded through the slots 12. The straps 3 are adjustable in length at 3a. In another form of harness the ends of the waist band are fastened at the front and the shoulder strap passes through a simple slotted sliding member at the back.
