Abstract

Le matériau de L'invention est obtenu par polymérisation radicalaire à partir d'un mélange comprenant au moins les monomères suivants :- un arylalcoxy-acrylate ou un arylalcoxy-méthacrylate, préférentiellement le 2-phénoxy-éthylacrylate ;- un alkylacrylate, préférentiellement l'acrylate de butyle ;- un acrylate hydroxylé, préférentiellement l'acrylate d'hydroxy-éthyle ;- un méthacrylate hydroxylé, préférentiellement le méthacrylate d'hydroxy-éthyle ;- un diacrylate de diol, préférentiellement le diacrylate de diéthylène glycol ; et- un diméthacrylate de diol, préférentiellement le diméthacrylate de diéthylène glycol.Le mélange comprend en outre un initiateur, notamment du peroxyde de lauroyl, et de préférence un agent de transfert comme le butane thiol par exemple.Cette invention intéresse les fabricants de lentilles intraoculaires et d'implants ophtalmologiques.
