Abstract

The suit is of a one piece design having a neck opening with a sealing collar. A long slit from the neck opening to just above crotch level permits easy dressing. This slit is closed and made leakproof by a flexible band at each side, these being magnetised and holding strongly together by magnetic attraction. A closed flap on the inside helps to proof the joint. The neck band has overlapping ends, similarly magnetised, to close this opening. The material of each magnetic band can be woven, rubber or plastic, to carry the charge and may have a longitudinal rib and groove for rapid positioning.
