Abstract

The assembly comprises superimposed units consisting of horizontal and vertical channels for the passage of vapours and a coolant. The vertical channels of each unit are staggered in relationship to the same channels of the following, adjacent unit. The upper part of each adjacent unit has inclined channels, into which the vertical channels of the preceding unit open. The inclined channels open into a collecting channel communicating with several additional vertical channels to evacuate condensate into the following unit underneath.
