Abstract

Föreliggande uppfinning anknyter till en process, med vilken man minskar på oönskad eftergulning av lignosellulosamaterial, speciellt eftergulning, som orsakats av ljus eller värme. Enligt uppfinningen aktiveras fibrerna enzymatiskt och bringas sedan i kontakt med ett modifieringsämne, som är kapabelt att binda till det oxiderade fibermaterialet och på så sätt ge lignosellulosafibrerna en förbättrad motståndskraft mot ljushetsförsämring. Enligt uppfinningen kan man fördröja eller t.o.m. förhindra ljushetsförsämring orsakad av ljus, av värme eller av en kombination av dessa.
