Abstract

A machine to produce rings of dough for pastry has several (four) tubes which are directed downward on a moving belt conveyor. The tubes are hinged at the bottom and are driven so that their nozzle ends describe circles. A blade on a parallelogram linkage cuts off the strands and is moved down to compress the overlapping ends. This is a simple design which is easy to maintain. It combines a high productivity with good functional reliability.
