Abstract

Procedimiento y aparato para el contacto continuo en contracorriente de una fase sólida particulada con una fase líquida, caracterizándose el procedimiento porque comprende las etapas de: a) alimentar el sólido particulado sin contactar al primer extremo de una columna vertical dividida en compartimentos mediante una pluralidad de platos perforados horizontales que se extienden a través de prácticamente toda la sección transversal de la columna y en donde cada compartimento está dotado con un medio de agitación; b) alimentar continuamente la fase líquida sin contactar al segundo extremo de la columna y separar continuamente la fase líquida contactada del primer extremo de la columna; c) poner en funcionamiento dichos medios de agitación para mantener al sólido particulado en forma de un lecho fluido y para controlar el tiempo de residencia de sólido particulado en cada compartimento; y d) separar el sólido particulado contactando del segundo extremo de la columna.
