Abstract

An immunoadsorbent coated onto a solid support can be stabilized by employing a sugar coating. Stabilization according to the disclosure will permit dry handling and storage of the coated support. Reagents for use in immunoassay comprise sugar-coated hepatitis antigen or antibody fixed directly or indirectly to for example polystyrene beads.
