Abstract
-ciano-N''-[2-[(4-metil-5-imidazolil)metiltio]etil]-N''`-alquinilguanidinas que son agentes de bloqueo del recepto H2, que inhiben la secreción de ácidos gástricos y que son útiles en el tratamiento de las úlceras. El objetivo clínico en el tratamiento de las úlceras pépticas es reducir la secreción de ácidos grasos, basándose en el principio de "sin ácido no hay úlcera". La terapia tradicional de las úlceras pépticas implica el control de la dieta y el uso de antiácidos y anticolinérgicos. Existen señales que indican que la histamina puede ser la trayectoria común final para la estimulación de la secreción gástrica. Este efecto de la histamina es mediado por los receptores H2 y no es inhibido por los antihistamínicos clásicos. Que son bloqueadores de los receptores H1.
