Abstract

Sistema de votación electrónico y correspondiente papeleta evaluable opto-electrónicamente. Emplea papeletas que recogen las distintas opciones, y se introduce la papeleta con la opción elegida en una urna (2) que incluye medios de lectura (12) de la opción elegida y una unidad de control (18) que realiza el escrutinio de la urna automáticamente y lo envía, mediante una red de comunicaciones (26), a un centro de procesamiento (27). Se caracteriza porque la opción elegida está impresa en: una primera zona (4), similar a la papeleta de votación tradicional, que incluye medios para garantizar la privacidad de la opción elegida; y en una segunda zona (5) en la que la opción elegida está oculta en una zona enmascarada (6). El lector cuenta con medios para leer la zona (6), y además se han previsto medios independientes (9) de desenmascarado temporal para que el elector pueda verificar la correspondencia entre la opción contenida en la zona (4) y la zona (6). Recuenta en un mínimo tiempo manteniendo la operativa principal del actual proceso de votación.
