Definitions

  • the invention relates to a shoe scraper tray for installation in the floor or in a floor covering according to patent claim 1, a modular shoe scraper system according to patent claim 13, a method for producing a shoe scraper tray according to patent claim 16 and a method for opening at least one edge drainage opening in a tray edge and/or at least one floor drainage opening in a tray bottom of a shoe scraper tray according to patent claim 17.
  • DE 100 48 533 A1 describes a frame for a doormat that can be put together from individual parts. Water regularly gets in through doormats or doormat grates, especially when used outdoors in front of a front door, for example via wet shoes or direct rain. Such a frame for a doormat offers no drainage or at best very uncontrollable drainage. This results in wet doormats or, in the worst case, flooding, which on the one hand is perceived as unpleasant and on the other hand can lead to damage and the associated costs. 2.
  • DE-U-20001512 discloses a drainable shoe scraper tray for installation in the floor or a floor covering according to the preamble of claim 1.
  • US-A-2021030255 discloses a method with an edge drainage opening in a bottom drainage opening.
  • the invention is based on the object of providing a shoe scraper tray for installation in the floor or in a floor covering as well as a corresponding modular shoe scraper system and a method which makes it possible to provide a flexible and easily implemented drainage of shoe scraper trays and to simplify the assembly and manufacture of shoe scraper trays.
  • An important point of the invention is to provide a shoe scraper tray in which drainage openings can be introduced at different positions in the tray floor and/or in the tray edge.
  • the shoe scraper tray offers a predefined number of drainage openings (initially) closed by layer elements of the opening element, of which one or more can be opened in a simple manner when the shoe scraper tray is installed, for example, in order to be able to flexibly adapt a position of a drainage or a drain of the shoe scraper tray to the local conditions.
  • "opening" or "exposing" a drainage opening is to be understood as meaning that the opening element (or a layer element of the opening element) can be removed or separated in some areas.
  • the opening element can be designed to be cut open with a knife, for example, or to be pressed in or pulled off by hand at a point marked by markings, cutting lines or predetermined breaking points.
  • a drainage device for drainage into a sewer can be connected or inserted into a drainage opening.
  • another (similar or identical) shoe scraper tray to a drainage opening in order to lay out a larger area with several fluid-connected shoe scraper trays and to direct the waste water into a common drainage device.
  • a layer element (bottom layer element, edge layer element) is a region of the opening element that is formed as a layer or thin layer.
  • opening elements as a negative mold element for a manufacturing process by casting the shoe scraper tray.
  • the opening elements or their layer elements therefore cover, on the one hand, drainage openings that can be exposed and, on the other hand, ensure that these drainage openings are formed during the manufacturing process by designing corresponding engagement and/or mold ribs of the opening elements in such a way that they define the flow of the hardenable material and anchor themselves in the hardened material.
  • the opening element is designed and arranged such that it (co-)defines a structure of the tub bottom and/or the tub edge, at least in sections.
  • the at least one opening element is formed and arranged within the tub element as at least one corner of the tub element.
  • the tray base and/or the tray element can have additional fluid guidance structures such as channels or ribs.
  • the at least one opening element has a bottom layer element which forms a partial area of the tub bottom within the tub element.
  • the at least one opening element has an edge layer element which forms a partial area of the tub edge within the tub element.
  • the at least one floor drainage opening in the tub bottom for drainage of the tub element can be exposed by pressing in or cutting open the bottom layer element.
  • the at least one edge drainage opening in the tub edge can be exposed by pressing in or cutting open the edge layer element for lateral drainage of the tub element or for connection to another shoe scraper tub of the same or similar type (for example of a different size).
  • the at least one opening element has at least one tubular channel structure extending through the at least one edge drainage opening, wherein the channel structure is closed in an exposed manner.
  • this channel structure serves to form the edge drainage opening, since the opening element is designed as a negative mold element and is cast around to form the tub element. This saves, for example, a separate manufacturing step for creating a corresponding drainage opening. On the other hand, this improves the drainage of the shoe scraper tub, since the edge drainage opening is additionally sealed by the channel structure, so that no leaks can occur here.
  • the at least one opening element has predetermined breaking points and/or markings, in particular cutting markings, in order to facilitate the separation of the opening element and the corresponding exposure of the to enable and/or support at least one edge drainage opening and/or at least one bottom drainage opening.
  • the at least one bottom drainage opening and/or the at least one edge drainage opening is/are each formed in a corner of the tub element.
  • the corresponding drainage openings in the corners optimize fluid flow through/out of the shoe scraper tray, as each corner has a fluid supply via two sides of the tray edge. This further increases the drainage properties of the shoe scraper tray.
  • two edge drainage openings are arranged in an exposed manner in at least one, preferably in each, corner of the tub element, wherein the two edge drainage openings are preferably arranged at 90° to each other.
  • the edge drainage openings make it possible to connect two or more shoe scraper trays to one another in a fluid-conducting manner.
  • Another shoe scraper tray can be connected in a fluid-conducting manner to the two outer sides of the tray edge of the corresponding corner. This makes it possible to create a modular shoe scraper system.
  • the tray element is a cast molded part which partially encloses the opening elements by casting, in particular in a form-fitting and/or material-fitting manner, in particular in such a way that the shoe scraper tray forms an integral unit.
  • the tub element is at least substantially made of a hardenable material, preferably concrete, in particular polymer concrete, Alternatively or additionally, the at least one opening element is made of plastic, preferably as an integral plastic component.
  • a frame running around an upper end of the tub edge is designed and arranged such that a grate or the like can be inserted into an upper region of the drainage device.
  • the object according to the invention is also achieved by a modular shoe scraper system for installation in the floor or a floor covering, wherein the shoe scraper system comprises at least two shoe scraper trays, as described above, which are arranged adjacent to one another and whose tray elements can be brought into fluid communication with one another via an edge drainage opening that can be exposed at a corresponding position.
  • the shoe scraper system comprises a connecting element that can be inserted into the corresponding edge drainage openings of the at least two trough elements such that the respective edge drainage openings of the at least two shoe scraper troughs can be connected to one another, in particular can be tightly connected.
  • the shoe scraper system comprises at least one drainage device that is or can be inserted into an exposed or opened floor drainage opening of a shoe scraper tray.
  • opening elements as a negative mold element for a manufacturing process by casting the shoe scraper tray.
  • the opening elements or their layer elements therefore cover, on the one hand, drainage openings that can be exposed and, on the other hand, ensure that these drainage openings are formed in the tray edge and tray base during the manufacturing process by designing corresponding engagement and/or mold ribs of the opening elements in such a way that they define the flow of the hardenable material and anchor themselves in the hardened material.
  • the method comprises a step in which, prior to the step of pouring or encapsulating, the at least one opening element, preferably four opening elements, is/are connected to at least one corresponding, preferably four, frame element(s) to form an opening element-frame unit, and the opening element-frame unit is subsequently poured or encapsulated.
