Definitions

  • the present invention relates to a surface filler with a handle device and a spatula sheet detachably attached to the handle device, the handle device being formed from a base body which runs essentially parallel to a main axis of the spatula sheet and is closed at its opposite ends in each case with a detachably attached closure device , wherein the base body has a holding groove which is aligned parallel to the main axis of the spatula sheet and is accessible from the outside via a receiving slot parallel to the main axis of the spatula sheet, the receiving slot having a smaller width than the holding groove and the holding groove forwardly towards the spatula sheet from one first groove wall is limited, which is adjacent to the receiving slot.
  • Such a spatula is over FR 3 020 389 A1 known and is used to fill and plaster large areas or to smoothly remove the material during these activities.
  • the surface spatula has a handle device which is much longer than depth and is shaped in such a way that the surface spatula can be handled well by hand, so that large parts of the palm, fingers and thumb can be touched Can nestle handle device and allow optimal power transmission.
  • the handle device is designed as a hollow profile which is firmly closed at its two opposite ends.
  • a spatula is inserted into the handle device on a transverse side of the handle device, that is to say in the direction of the width.
  • the spatula sits in a Hollow profile formed retaining groove so that it can not move in any direction when using the surface filler. Due to the construction, only a spatula sheet with a single predetermined thickness can be inserted into the handle device. It is not possible to use spatulas with different thicknesses with the same handle.
  • FR 2 969 192 is a spatula screwed into the handle and can only be loosened with a tool and removed from the handle.
  • a suitable tool must always be available.
  • the handle device can have permanently mounted closure caps with a tool holder. Only a spatula sheet with a single predetermined thickness can also be inserted into the handle device.
  • the object of the present invention is therefore to develop a surface filler of the type mentioned in such a way that a change of the spatula sheet from Users can be carried out largely without technical aids and without injury.
  • the spatula sheet has at least one attachment on a first sheet surface, which cooperates with the first groove wall when the spatula sheet is mounted on the handle device, the height of the at least one attachment being dependent on the thickness of the spatula sheet, such that the lower the thickness of the spatula, the higher the amount.
  • the respective end of the handle device can be opened with the closure devices detachably attached to both ends of the base body.
  • the spatula sheet held in the handle device can then be gripped laterally and pulled out of the handle device laterally, that is to say in the longitudinal direction.
  • a further advantage is that the base body has a holding groove which is aligned parallel to the main axis of the spatula sheet and is accessible from the outside via a receiving slot which is parallel to the main axis of the spatula sheet.
  • the boundary surfaces of the receiving slot and a groove wall delimiting the retaining groove on the side facing away from the spatula sheet serve as guide surfaces.
  • the retaining groove extends below the receiving slot and adjoins the receiving slot with a groove wall at the bottom.
  • the spatula sheet has at least one shoulder on a first sheet surface, which cooperates with the groove wall when the spatula sheet is mounted on the handle device.
  • the approach can be pushed through the receiving slot and snaps into the groove wall of the holding groove adjacent below the receiving slot.
  • This front groove wall blocks the path of the spatula back so that it sits firmly in the holding groove.
  • a varying thickness of the spatula can be compensated for by different heights of the lugs, so that the spatula plus lug always ensure a secure hold in the holding groove.
  • the shape of the approach causes the spatula sheet to be fixed in position through the receiving slot into the holding groove.
  • a surface filler 1 is shown schematically and in perspective in an exploded view.
  • the surface filler 1 comprises a handle device 3, a spatula sheet 5 and a first closure device 7.1 and a second closure device 7.2.
  • the locking devices 7.1 and 7.2 are in the Fig. 1 illustrated embodiment formed as a cap.
  • the spatula sheet 5 has a greater length than depth and forms a major axis H over the length.
  • the spatula sheet 5 has a first sheet end 5.2 and a second sheet end 5.3 and has a thickness of about 0.3 to 1 on the working edge 5.1 as a rule , 00mm.
  • the strengths of the working edge 5.1 can be below or above these dimensions.
  • the thickness present on the working edge 5.1 extends regularly over the entire spatula sheet 5 from the first sheet end 5.2 to the second sheet end 5.3, but in special embodiments can also be different at different locations on the spatula sheet 5.
  • the grip device 3 has a base body designed as a hollow profile in the present embodiment and is made of aluminum in the present preferred embodiment. In other embodiments, other profile variants made of metal or also base bodies made of wood can be used.
  • the cross section of the hollow profile of the grip device 3 is mushroom-shaped, with a larger longitudinal oval 3.1 forming the "head" in the longitudinal direction (transverse to the width) at the top and a smaller longitudinal oval 3.2 forming the "foot” below and a narrower stem 3.3 connecting the two longitudinal oval.
  • the cross section is not symmetrical and has a shorter protrusion of the "head” in the direction of the spatula sheet 5 and a longer protrusion in the opposite direction.
  • This design corresponds to a shape that is ergonomically adapted to a human hand, so that the fingers can be curved at the front over the shorter projection of the "head” and the thumb behind at the longer projection of the "head” and the top of the "head” as far as possible rests on the palm of a user's hand.
  • the handle device 3 also has a large stabilizing surface 3.4.
  • the grip device 3 and also the stabilizing surface 3.4 have a smaller width than the working edge 5.1 of the spatula sheet 5.
  • the spatula sheet 5 therefore has a side contour at the two opposite ends 5.2, 5.3, with which the spatula sheet 5 is of great width the working edge 5.1 is reduced to the smaller width of the stabilizing surface 3.4.
  • the first and second ends 5.2, 5.3 each have a profile that is slightly convergent from the working edge 5.1 first in a first section 5.4 and then in one Section 5.5 runs in a circular arc towards the inside (concave). This section 5.5 is followed by an arcuate section 5.6 in the opposite direction (convex) with a course perpendicular to the main axis.
  • the handle device 3 can be seen from below. Below the stabilizing surface 3.4, a web 3.5 extends from the smaller longitudinal oval 3.2 (“foot”). The web 3.5, together with the underside of the stabilizing surface 3.4, delimits a receiving slot 3.6 and a holding groove 3.7.
  • the receiving slot 3.6 has a smaller width than the holding groove 3.7.
  • the holding groove 3.7 is therefore delimited at the front, in the direction of the spatula sheet 5, by a first groove wall 3.8 which adjoins the receiving slot 3.6.
  • the holding groove 3.7 is delimited by a second groove wall 3.9.
  • the handle device 3 has a first handle end 3.10 and a second handle end 3.11 showing the cross section.
  • the holding groove 3.7 and its design is ultimately the limiting factor for the thickness range (for example 0.3 to 1.0 mm) of the spatula sheet 5 which can be used in one and the same base body of the handle device 3.
  • the surface filler 1 can be seen from below.
  • approaches 5.7 are formed on the spatula sheet 5.
  • these approaches 5.7 are stampings which form a steep front edge in the direction of the working edge 5.1 and an oblique rear side in the opposite direction.
  • the distance from the front edge of each attachment 5.7 to an edge 5.8 opposite the working edge 5.1 corresponds to the distance between the first groove wall 3.8 and the second groove wall 3.9, so that a into the holding groove 3.7 inserted spatula sheet 5 is blocked in a direction transverse to the transverse axis.
  • the height of the respective approach 5.7 depends on the thickness of the spatula sheet 5, ie the lower the thickness of a spatula sheet, the higher the approach 5.7.
  • the lugs 5.7 are formed only on one side / surface of the spatula sheet 5. In a preferred embodiment, the lugs 5.7 are formed on both sides / surfaces of the spatula sheet 5, so that when changing spatula sheets 5, for example depending on their thicknesses, a user does not pay attention to the orientation of the spatula sheet 5 with respect to an upper side and a lower side got to.
  • the first and second closure devices 7.1, 7.2 are identical, but mirror-inverted.
  • the closure devices 7.1, 7.2 are preferably made of plastic.
  • the closure devices 7.1, 7.2 designed as closure caps are adapted to the cross section of the hollow profile of the handle device 3 and additionally each have a finger-shaped extension piece 7.3 which, when mounted on the handle device, extends in the direction of the spatula sheet 5 and the holding groove 3.7 and covers the receiving slot 3.6.
  • the closure device 7.1 or 7.2 designed as a closure cap is shown with the inside.
  • Clamping webs 7.4 are formed on the inside of the closure device 7.1, 7.2, which at least in places follow the contour at a distance from the material thickness of the hollow profile. In this way, the closure devices 7.1, 7.2 can be pressed under tension into the free ends of the hollow profile and sit there firmly but releasably. You can use your fingers, largely without tools, be removed.
  • the user can grip the larger width of the spatula sheet 5 projecting laterally beyond the handle device 3, that is to say to the first section 5.4 and / or second section 5.5, and pull the spatula sheet laterally out of the handle device 3 , This process is supported by the guidance of the spatula sheet 5 in the receiving slot 3.6 and on the second, rear groove wall 3.9.
  • the locking devices 7.1 or 7.2 can be formed captively with the base body of the handle device 3.
  • This captivity can be made in any form.
  • the captivity is achieved by a two-part locking device 7.1, 7.2.
  • An inner part 7.5 is identical with its outline to the outline of the hollow body of the handle device and firmly wrapped in the same.
  • the inner part 7.5 is firmly connected to an outer part 7.7 via a film hinge 7.6 and can be moved around the film hinge 7.6 to close or open and release the hollow body or the holding groove 3.7.
  • a fixed position in the closed position can then be generated in the preferred embodiment in that a possibly circumferential tongue of the outer part 7.7 engages in a groove of the inner part 7.5 of the closure device 7.1 or 7.2.
