Claims (8)

  1. Positioning apparatus for machines for accepting returned empty product containers, in particular bottles or cans, having:
    a device for setting the empty product container (2) upright, in particular a bottle chute (3),
    a stabilizing device (4) for stabilizing the upright empty product containers (2), and
    a transporting belt (12), downstream of the stabilizing device (4), for transporting the empty product container (2) out of the stabilizing device (4),
    characterized in that the stabilizing device (4) is mounted movably and can be accelerated by means of an acceleration drive (11) to a speed in the range of the transporting speed of the transporting belt (12), so that the empty product container (2) secured in the stabilizing device (4) is moving at precisely this speed of the stabilizing device (4) when it is set down on the transporting belt (12).
  2. Positioning apparatus according to Claim 1, characterized in that the stabilizing device (4) is designed to hold the bottle with clamping action during the acceleration.
  3. Positioning apparatus according to Claim 1 or 2, characterized in that the stabilizing device (4) consists of a clamping slide having two clamping slide jaws (6, 7), a clamping slide drive (5) and a rear chamber wall (9).
  4. Positioning apparatus according to Claim 3, characterized in that the stabilizing device (4) is mounted displaceably on a base frame (5) by means of a bearing (10).
  5. Positioning apparatus according to Claim 2 or 3, characterized in that the stabilizing device (4) comprises a bottle sensor.
  6. Positioning apparatus according to one of the preceding claims, characterized in that the bearing (10) and the drive (12) are arranged movably parallel to the conveying direction of the transporting belt (6).
  7. Machine for collecting empty product containers, in particular for bottles or cans, characterized by a positioning apparatus (1) according to one of the preceding claims.
  8. Method for positioning empty product containers in a machine for accepting returned empty product containers according to Claim 7, characterized in that, after it has been positioned in a stabilizing device (4) that can be accelerated, the empty product container (2) is accelerated from a standstill to the conveying speed of the transporting belt (6).
