Definitions

  • the invention relates to a device for strapping, in particular for longitudinal strapping of packaged goods with a strapping, comprising a Umreifungsbandrolle, is subtracted from the strapping band to be processed to form a tape storage for a subsequent strapping process.
  • Such a device is known for example from DE 200 07 232 U1.
  • the packaged goods to be strapped for example a catalog or magazine stack, are placed on the apparatus table via a provision device not described in greater detail.
  • a Umreifungsbandrolle is provided, from which the strapping tape is withdrawn into a tape storage in which it is meander-shaped, and runs in a Einsch manbeat noise, by means of which it is injected into a packaging material enclosing the channel-like tape guide frame.
  • the front free end of the tape is collected again and guided into a welding device, where it is welded after rewinding the packaged goods, including the strapping tape is removed from the tape guide frame, after which it is cut off.
  • the Einsch dirtyvorgang the strapping tape is withdrawn from the strapping tape roll and the tape storage continuously filled, so that there is always enough unwound strapping in the tape storage for a bullet process available.
  • Known strapping devices have an automatic tape feeder, that is, the strapping is automatically deducted from the Umreifungsbandrolle and in the memory, there meandering, promoted.
  • a device for detecting the weight of the tape located in the memory is usually provided in the memory, which is often designed as a rocker and over which the tape feeder is controlled. If the supply of tape is too low, the rocker switches on the tape feeder via suitable switching means; tape is automatically fed from the reel to the store. With reaching a given Filling degree and thus a corresponding weight of the strip tilts the rocker, the switching means turns off the tape feeder. Depending on the rocker position so the tape feeder is controlled. In general, the three to fourfold tape length of a strapping process is in memory.
  • the apparatus required for this known tape feeder is considerably high, malfunction of the rocker are possible, so sometimes the entire feeder operation does not work or not work properly.
  • the invention is based on the problem to provide a device having a simply constructed tape retracting mechanism.
  • a movable Bandmitsacrificing is provided which is movable from a first to a second position with entrainment of the strapping, and that a strapping arretierendes holding means on a the Bandmitauer downstream point is provided.
  • the strapping device provides only a movable between two positions Bandmit clergy, which during movement from the first to the second position, the band which is held in the region between the point of the Bandmit supplementss and the Einsch manvorraum via a suitable holding means, during its movement at least over a portion of the length between the first and the second position entrains, so that the strap is unwound inevitably due to the other end given detent from the roll.
  • the tape is guided during this movement over the tape driver in the tape storage.
  • inventively proposed trigger mechanism using only a movable Bandmit ceremonies is designed much easier.
  • the band driver acts as a back-tensioning device for the goods to be packaged Strapping band under promotion of the reclaimed tape length in the tape storage before removing the Umreifungbands used by the Umreifungsbandrolle, including a Bandmit disruptive upstream, preferably close to the roll second holding means is provided for locking the Umreifungsbands.
  • the band driver thus not only has a band-feeding function, but at the same time a tensioning function, ie it has a double function and replaces the otherwise usual back-tensioning device.
  • the strapping is fixed roll close, after the strapping was injected into a surrounding the packaged tape guide frame. For this it is, after it was caught in the welding device and locked there, removed, so that it can be stretched around the packaged goods.
  • This is now done by means of the band driver, which moves from the first position starting and spans the band laid around the packaged goods.
  • the downstream holding means is open at this time, so that the tape can be retrieved while the roll driver in the near-by-band holding means locks the tape. Only when a predetermined tension is reached, the downstream holding means closes, the upstream, roll-near holding means opens, so that the strapping can be deducted from the tape roll on the further movement path to the second position.
  • This embodiment of the invention thus makes it possible, in addition to the complex design known tape feed control to dispense with a separate back tensioning device, since both functions are performed by the inventively provided Bandmit vide.
  • the tape driver according to the invention the strapping be stretched with any voltage around the packaged since the Bandmitauer tensioning the tape by its longitudinal movement and the clamping force ultimately only depends on how far you move the Bandmit hormonal along its path.
  • the length of the movement of the Bandmit clergy between the first and the second position be dimensioned such that just as much strapping is guided in the band memory, as is required for a subsequent strapping process, so as to ensure that the band memory always with the actual required tape length is filled and not too little or too much tape is fed into the memory.
  • the meandered tape often takes this meandering shape, that is, it has molded arcs or kinks that prevent it from shooting in.
  • An advantageous development of this inventive idea provides that the movement length of the Bandmit loved graduatess between the first and the second position is adjustable, which then inevitably shorten the length of tape located in the memory or can be extended. In this way, the device can be easily adapted to the geometry of a new packaged goods to be gripped and still be ensured that only the actually required tape length is fed into the memory.
  • the Bandmitauer can be inventively designed as a pivot lever, which is suitably pivotable about the axis of rotation of the Umreifungsbandrolle.
  • a suitable drive means for example in the form of an electric motor or the like is provided to move the lever between the two positions.
  • the pivoting lever which performs a circular arc-shaped movement
  • a rail-guided driving element can also be guided along a curved trajectory, so that even by such Mit Meetingbine a curved path of movement between the two positions, as given in a pivoting lever, can be realized.
  • the first and optionally the second holding means are expediently designed as clamping means, for example as opposed clamping jaws, between which the strapping band is guided.
  • clamping means can be operated electrically, pneumatically and hydraulically.
  • the pivot lever may be formed as a one-armed pivot lever which is moved relative to the position of the strapping laterally next to this and via a suitable driver element which protrudes from the pivot lever, the tape entrains.
  • a suitable driver element which protrudes from the pivot lever, the tape entrains.
  • the belt driver designed as a pivot lever has two pivot arms which are movable laterally of the strapping belt roll and which are connected via a connecting section engaging on the strapping band.
  • the strapping operations can occur very quickly in succession or at longer intervals in between. If it is a slow-acting device, so longer cycles are given, it is readily possible, the Bandmit hormonal same as he is running back from the second position back to the first position before the strapping tape is removed from the tape storage.
  • the problem may now be that the Bandmit hormonal can not be returned to the first position before the strapping tape is withdrawn from the tape storage due to a bullet process. In this case, the strapping band pulled out of the storage would then abut the band driver still located in the withdrawal path. As a result, the bullet process would be disturbed because the strap can not be completely removed from the memory.
  • the Bandmit vide along or parallel to the axis of rotation of the Umreifungsbandrolle is displaceable at least for performing the return movement in the first position.
  • This embodiment of the invention thus provides to move the tape driver or the driver element, which actually acts on the tape during the movement, from the withdrawal path of the strap when it is pulled out of the memory by the Bandmit vide is moved slightly laterally, so that de facto the engaging portion engaging the strapping band is in each case positioned laterally next to the band and is returned in this position. A now drawn from the memory tape is pulled past the tape driver or its driver section, so this does not hinder the tape withdrawal.
  • the band driver is a pivoting lever having two pivoting arms
  • the connecting portion between the pivoting arms it is expedient for the connecting portion between the pivoting arms to be in two parts and for at least one of the pivoting arms to be displaceable along the pivot axis or parallel thereto (if this pivoting lever can not be pivoted about the roller rotational axis) is. That is, it is here only one pivot lever moves with the band engaging on the connecting portion to the side.
  • both pivot arms can be offset laterally, since the tape depending on the role position is guided at one or the other connecting portion portion.
  • a roller or a roller is expediently provided on which runs off the strapping strip to be deducted. If the connecting portion is divided into two, of course, two such rollers or rollers are provided.
  • Retaining elements are expediently provided in the strip store itself for holding the strapping strip introduced by the movement of the strap catcher, which can be designed, for example, as brushes.
  • FIG. 1 1, 3, 5 and 7 show the device according to the invention as a schematic diagram as a sectional view, while Figs. 2, 4, 6 and 8 show a rotated by 90 ° view of the relevant uncut device components.
  • FIG. 1 shows a device 1 according to the invention comprising a device table 2 on which a tape guide frame 3 is arranged.
  • a strapping tape roll 4 is provided, which is rotatable about the axis A. From this Umreifungsbandrolle 4 strapping 5 is handled.
  • This strapping 5 is like FIG. 1 shows in the Tape guide frame 3 shot over a shooting device not shown in detail. The free end is collected and passed into a welding device, also not shown in detail. The inserted strapping then stretched around a packaged goods, such as a catalog or newspaper stack, after which it is welded and later cut off.
  • a band driver 6 in the form of a pivoting lever 7 with two pivoting arms 8, which are connected to one another via a two-part connecting portion 9 consisting of two rollers 10, is provided in the region of the strap.
  • the pivot lever 7 and its two pivot arms 8 are rotatable about the same axis of rotation as the strapping band 4, which will be discussed below.
  • the movement of the pivoting lever which is movable between a first position shown in FIG. 1 and a second position shown in FIG. 5, can take place via an electric motor, and also a pneumatically or hydraulically controlled lever movement is conceivable.
  • the Bandmit clergy 6 is preceded by a clamping means 11, for. B. two jaws, between which the strapping 5 is guided. Furthermore, a the Bandmit clergy 6 downstream further clamping means 12, also z. B. consisting of two jaws, connected downstream. Both clamping means 11, 12 can be operated separately electrically, pneumatically or hydraulically. They serve to clamp the strap between them, depending on the cycle in which the device is located.
  • Fig. 1 shows as described the situation after shooting the strapping band 5 in the tape guide frame.
  • the Bandmit clergy 6 is in its first position in which it does not attack the strap 5.
  • Fig. 3 now shows the situation in which the strap 5 taken from the opening tape guide frame 3 and the one shown in Fig. 3 Packgut 13 was stretched.
  • the re-tensioning takes place in that, for example, immediately after detection of the straight, tight course of the strap 5 between the two clamping means 11 and 12, which can be done via a suitable sensor, the roller-close clamping means 11 is closed and the strapping 5 is locked there. That is, in the position shown in Fig. 1 after shooting and collecting the strapping band, the clamping means 11 is closed after detecting the rectilinear band profile.
  • the Bandmit clergy 6 moves as shown in Fig. 3 in the direction of arrow B.
  • the clamping means 12 After the clamping means 12 is open, he pulls the loosely around the Packgut 13 lying strapping, so this clamps around the packaged goods 13 and leads it into the same time tape storage.
  • the voltage can be adjusted more or less. If a sufficient voltage is reached, which can also be monitored by means of a suitable sensor which detects the state of tension of the belt at a section following the clamping means 12, the belt is clamped and locked in the welding device (not shown), while at the same time the clamping means 12 is closed.
  • the Bandmit clergy cord 6 can now remain in this position until, for example, the strapped strap is welded and cut to then continue the storage filling, including the clamping means 11 is to open.
  • the pivot lever 7 After reaching the second position shown in Fig. 5, the pivot lever 7 is returned to the first position, see Fig. 7, the withdrawn strapping remains in the tape storage 15.
  • the clamping means 12 For shooting now the clamping means 12 is opened, so that the strapping 15 from the Memory can be conveyed through the clamping means 12.
  • the clamping means 11 can be closed in this case to lock the strapping there.
  • the strapping 5 runs substantially in a straight line between the clamping means 11 and 12, which via a sensor or the like can be detected.
  • the clamping means 11 is closed at the latest then, after which the back tensioning process and later the strip removal process for the storage filling takes place again.
  • a suitable sensor system e.g. detecting the actual tape length or the path of movement of the tape driver, which is also a measure of the tape length withdrawn
  • the driver movement depending on the detection are controlled accordingly until the correct length in the Memory was promoted. That is, the driver movement can be controlled according to how much band is actually deducted.
  • smaller changes can be detected and compensated for in terms of the reclaimed during tape length tape so that always the required tape length is in memory.
  • the sequence shown in the figures reflects the situation that the pivot lever 7 from the second position (Fig. 5) in the first position (Fig. 7) can be returned before the Einsch manvorgang begins and Strapping tape is removed from the tape storage 15. This is readily possible with slow clocked devices. With faster clocked devices, however, the Einsch manvorgang can already begin before the pivot lever 7 has reached the first position shown in Fig. 7 again. In this case, the connecting portion 9 would hinder the free tape withdrawal from the tape storage 15, that is, the strapping tape quickly peeled off from the tape storage 15 would abut on the connecting portion 9. To avoid this, as shown in Fig. 6, the quasi two-piece pivot lever 7 can be displaced laterally.
  • the two pivot arms 8 can be laterally offset along the axle guide 16, as indicated by the arrows C, so that the two rollers 10 are no longer in the path of movement of the stripping tape 15 to be subtracted. Since both rollers 10 can be brought out of the movement path, unhindered belt withdrawal is possible in any case, no matter where the strapping belt, which is wound on the strapping belt roll from left to right, is running. After reaching the first position shown in Fig. 7, the pivot arms 8 are pushed back again, as shown by the arrows D in Fig. 8, so that the connecting portion 9 closes again and can attack for the subsequent removal operation on the strap.
