Definitions
- the invention relates to an apparatus and a method to detect overlaps of bendable flat Programs according to the preamble of claim 1 or 9.
- the double deduction rate can further reduce that by double deduction errors problems also arise by identifying overlaps of the shipments are reduced.
- To overlap shipment can be identified by rolling up or spraying on lines. Barcodes or other samples, if possible, over the entire length of the shipment Front and / or rear optically scannable tracks on the Apply the shipment surface. Consignments overlap determine the optical scanning of these tracks later because of overlaps Tick marks are missing or line jumps occur. With these procedures it is necessary to pre-treat the shipments in a first step, i.e. with traces. In a second step after new Isolation. e.g. for the fine distribution of letters. can be Then identify shipment overlaps.
- EP 028 056 a generic device is known from EP 028 056, in which by means of light sensors and oblique lighting edges of consignments can be detected. With the help of a control circuit it is then determined whether there is a double deduction. This method is different as a result Surface condition of the consignments and soiling is badly flawed.
- the object of the present invention is to provide a device and a method for detecting overlaps of bendable flat Programs with a reduced compared to the prior art Error rate.
- the invention is based on movable sections of the shipment for each shipment temporarily deflect perpendicular to the conveying direction and by evaluating the snapback behavior of the Consignments the existence of overlapping consignment sections to detect.
- the detection of overlapping program sections take place in that Measurements of the temporary distance of the trailing edges of the deflected Consignment sections take place.
- the detection can, however also by measuring changes in capacity when detuned an oscillator, or by sensing Pressure that the tear-off edges exert after the snapback respectively.
- the invention results in extensive independence in the detection of overlaps from the Surface quality of the consignments. Therefore at solution according to the invention also not stickers, brands, edge bands or windows incorrectly as indicators of overlap identified.
- the deflection of the consignment sections can be perpendicular to the conveying direction on the front or on the back of the shipment respectively.
- it is advantageous to move the movable sections of the shipment both on the front of the shipment as well as perpendicular to the back of the shipment Deflect the direction of conveyance and for each of these deflection types evaluate the rapid response of the shipments.
- deflection elements on opposite sides of the transport route arranged to shipments both on the front as well as the back of the shipment.
- the detection device for detecting overlaps a lighting device for generating light beams and at least two optical receivers, the Beam of light on the room area in which the temporary deflection the program sections are done, are focused and the optical receiver on opposite sides of the transport route are arranged such that only when deflection of programs with overlapping sections around the given one Amount of light entering the optical receiver is interrupted at the same time.
- the transport route 1 has two transport belts 2, 3, which are guided over a letter plate 4.
- drive and guide the conveyor belts used drive and guide elements are for Simplification not shown.
- deduction facility from which the shipments before they are fed into the transport route by one Stacks have been withdrawn.
- the flat broadcasts i.e. Long letters, letters and postcards
- Different formats are usually on their long edges promoted standing in the transport route 1. Cover it the conveyor belts only a small section of the total Shipment surface, so that larger sections of the shipments protrude above and below the conveyor belts.
- the invention also relates to transport routes at who are promoting the programs in a different way than with two transport belts are made as long as it is only guaranteed that the consignments protrude over an edge against which the consignment sections can be deflected.
- the mail deflection element 6 is preferably rod-shaped trained and laterally offset to the transport route. It protrudes into the transprot section, so that a funded letter as soon as it reaches the area of the transport route, into which the deflection element protrudes, in the sections protruding beyond the conveyor belts is forcibly deflected.
- the deflection element preferably forms an obtuse angle ⁇ with the direction of transport, so that a slow, gentle deflection of the relevant shipment sections.
- the distance of the shipment side End of the deflection element from the transport plane of the shipments determines the maximum deflection of the Consignment sections, the bending properties of the consignments can be adjusted.
- the deflection element is on attached to a carrier 7 so that the element in a sufficient Distance from the edge of the conveyor belts, above the conveyor belts is arranged. To damage the To avoid shipments, it is advantageous to attach to provide the deflection element such that a predetermined maximum deflection force is not exceeded.
- a maximum permissible deflection force can be determined by a rotatable Suspension of the deflection element achieved with every counterforce will.
- Optical receivers 9, 10 are on opposite sides arranged the transport route.
- an illumination device is arranged, the light beams towards the optical receiver emitted.
- Halogen lamps are preferably used for this, Used LEDs or other quickly switchable light sources, so that the light beams with a pulse train between 10 and 100 kHz can be emitted.
- the lighting device and the optical receivers are electrical with a no closer shown evaluation electronics connected to the emission and controls and monitors the reception of the light beams.
- the interference immunity of the device against environmental influences increase, in addition to a pulse repetition frequency between 10 and 100 kHz an arbitrarily high AC voltage gain in the Receiving part of the facility used.
- the device works as follows:
- a program that overlaps with a second program is interrupted in the direction of the optical receiver 10 emitted light beam through the overlapping broadcast.
- the second shipment still in the area of the deflection element 6, see above that the section protruding over the edge of the conveyor belt is steered out and towards the optical receiver 9 emitted light bundle is also interrupted.
- FIG. 2 is a top view of the configuration with an overlapping Shown pair D1, D2. Because at the time in which the first shipment D1 is already out of the area of the deflection element 6 has been promoted so that the rear edge the broadcast D1 has flipped back and that in the direction light beams emitted on the photoreceptor 10 are interrupted is, a section of the program D2 is still being deflected also the beam of rays pointing towards the photo receiver 9 is emitted, still interrupted. The result is an interruption of both light beams.
- the The programs overlap a double layer of the concerned Consignment sections formed.
- the deflection element 6 there is an upper and a lower broadcast. So that a detection of overlaps according to the above Procedure is possible, it is necessary that the lower shipment has a section from the upper Consignment is not covered or overlapped, so that the deflection this section is done after the top shipment is no longer deflected. So as many overlaps as possible to recognize it is advantageous to have two in a row offset deflection elements with respectively assigned optical To provide recipients so that the consignments one after the other in opposite directions, i.e. both on the front of the shipment as well as the back of the shipment, and with each the deflection behavior of the shipments evaluate.
- FIG 3 shows a top view of a preferred embodiment, in the case of a separation of the consignments in a double separation device 12 the shipments of the transport route 1 first to a first deflection element 61 and then led to a second deflection element 62 will.
- the deflection element 61 is the lighting device 111 and the optical receivers 91 and 101 assigned.
- the deflection element 62 is the lighting device 112 and the optical receivers 92 and 102.
- the shipments are both on the front of the shipment as well as the back of the shipment.
