Offnen ist die Verschlußkappe jedoch nicht mehr in Verbindung mit dem Behälter usw., was oftmals zum Verlust der Kappe und des Inhalts führt. Daraufhin entwickelte Verschlliiisse, bei denen die Kappe löslich, aber mit dem Behälter in Verbindung ist, z. B. durch eine Kette, Bügel, Gummischlaufe od. dgl., sind aber gegenüber den einfachen zu teuer.
