Die Neuerung betrifft ein in eine Doppelliege umwandelbares Sofa. Dieses,Sofa besteht aus einem einteiligen Grundpolster, mindestens zwei losen Kissen und einem rechteckigen HoIz- ) rahmen, dessen kürzere Schenkel mitten unterteilt und mittels Scharniere od.dgl. auf- und auseinander·"klappbar miteinander verbunden sind. Das Grundpolster ist in einer R^hmenhälfte befestigt und füllt diese ganz aus. Die losen Kissen sind so bemessen, daß sie nebeneinander gelegt die zweite Rahmenhälfte ganz ausfüllen. Demzufolge bilden das Grundpolster und die Sitzpolster in der "Liege'^Stellung eine von dem Holzrahmen umschlossene Liegefläche für zwei Personen.
