wünschenswert, sondern schon ein Erfordernis, daß Gebrauchsmöbel mehreren Zwecken

Diesen Zielen wird das im folgenden
beschriebene Bettsofa gerecht, das in der Zeichnung in den Abb. i -bis 4 in einem
Ausführungsbeispiel dar-
gestellt ist. Die Kopfwand besteht aus einem Stück.
Die Fußwand besteht aus feststehendem Unter- und beweglichem Oberteil. Die beiden
Bettseiten sind am Fußende bis Armlehnenhöhe -verbreitert. Mit dieser Verbreiterung
a sind durch Scharniere b
Schwenkstücke c verbunden, die wiederum mit dem
Oberteil der Fußwand d feste Verbindung haben. Durch einfaches Umklappen
des Oberteils der Fußwand nach innr-n entsteht eine Sitzfläche, deren -Rückenlehne
die umgeklappte Fußwand ist. Die Sitzseiten werden vori der Bettseitenverbreiterung
und den Schwenkstücken- gebildet. Auf die Sitzseiten werden breite Armlehnen e gesteckt.
Die Fußwand kann zweckmäßig innen gepolstert sein. Die Federbetten usw. werden auf
den verbleibenden zwei Dritteln des Bettsofas, wie bekannt, aufgebettet. Bei Verwendung
der üblichen dreiteiligen Auflagen kann an Stelle des letzten Drittels der Auflage
ein Federpollster genommen werden, so daß die Sitzfläche im Gebrauch und Aussehen
