Abstract

A compressed air pulse generator for clearing blockages in silos and in other free flow equipment, has a pressure reservoir (2) with an outlet tube (7) and with a high pressure valve system mounted inside the reservoir for safety. The valve opens and closes the inner end (11) of the tube and is mounted on the inside of a support flange inside an access port. This ensures that in the event of a rupture of the high pressure valve the broken pieces remain inside the pressure reservoir. The high pressure valve and pulse tube are easily removed for maintenance with the support flange.
