Die Neuerung betrifft eine Trinkgefäßabdeckung. Drinking crease cover

Gefäßabdeckungen sind als sogenannte Stürzen, insbesondere für Kochtöpfe an sich bekannt, dabei aber im Durchmesser auf die Topfgröße abgestellt. Trinkgefäße, also Tassen oder Töpfe können zwar auch mit geeigneten Mitteln abdedeckt werden, soweit bekannt, stehen aber für Trinkgefäße, um bspw. Wärmeverluste bei heißen Getränken zu reduzieren, speziell angepaßte Abdeckungen nicht zur Verfügung, wenn man von Klappdeckeln an sogenannten Bierseideln oder Humpen absieht. In der Regel benutzt man also, um heiße Getränke in Tassen oder Topfen abzudecken, da, wie gesagt, keine spezielle Abdeckungen verfügbar sind, häufig Untertassen und zwar insbesondere bspw. im Krankenhausbereich, wo größere Mengen von Trinkgefäßen verteilt werden müssen, und wo auch die heißen Getränke von Patienten häufig nicht zügig ausgetrunken werden. Abgesehen davon, ist es natürlich immer und überall wünschenswert, die eingefüllten Getränke zumindest angenähert auf Temperatur zu halten. Wird dies mit irgendwelchen Hilfsmitteln praktiziert, so hat dies in der Regel zur Folge, daß am Hilfsmittel niedergeschlagenes Kondensat beim Abnehmen und Ablegen des Hilfsmittels auf die Ablage gerät.
