Die Erfindung bezieht sich auf ein Faltverdeck für ein Cabrio-Fahrzeug, welches in seiner Schließstellung den Fahrgastraum übergreift und in seiner Öffnungsstellung in einem Verdeckkasten versenkt ist, bestehend aus einem zumindest mit einer Öffnung für eine Heckscheibe ausgestatteten textlien Verdeckbezug und einem diesen zugeordneten Verdeckgestell, wobei das Verdeckgestell einen Frontspriegel, eine Hauptsäule, einen Hauptspriegel und einen &iacgr;&ogr; Stoffspannbügel sowie an jeder Fahrzeugseite gleich ausgebildete Teilgestänge umfaßt und insgesamt über je eine an jeder Fahrzeugseite angeordnete Konsole an der Fahrzeugkarosserie abgestützt bzw. angelenkt sowie mittels jeweils eines an jeder der beiden Konsolen angeordneten Antriebes zwischen seiner Schließ- und seiner Öffnungsstellung hin und her verstellbar ist.The invention relates to a folding top for a convertible vehicle, which in its closed position extends over the passenger compartment and in its open position is sunk into a top compartment, consisting of a textile top cover equipped with at least one opening for a rear window and a top frame associated with it, the top frame comprising a front bow, a main pillar, a main bow and a fabric tensioning bracket as well as identically designed partial rods on each side of the vehicle and is supported or hinged to the vehicle body via a bracket arranged on each side of the vehicle and can be adjusted back and forth between its closed and open positions by means of a drive arranged on each of the two brackets.

dienen der Konturgebung für den Verdeckbezug und sind daher einerseits im Bereich dessen xAbwinkelung an den Hauptspriegel und andererseits im Bereich
des hinteren Endes dessen Längsschenkel an den Stoffspannbügel angeschlossen.
Der Einsatz formgebender, längen verstellbarer Stoff Stützelemente ermöglicht,
insbesondere in Verbindung mit einer entsprechenden Ausbildung des Stoffspannbügels
bzw. einer karosserieseitigen Bezugstoffbefestigung die Ausbildung eines von der positiv gewölbten Form abweichenden Konturverlaufes des

Eine besonders zweckmäßige Gestaltungsform sieht dabei zudem vor, daß die Stützteile und das Bügelteil vermittels eines Gelenkhebelpaares miteinander verbunden sind. Eine derartige Ausbildung des Hauptspriegels ermöglicht eine besonders raumsparende Unterbringung des geöffneten Faltverdeckes innerhalb eines Verdeckkastens.
