Die aus der Zeichnung hervorgehende Vorrichtung 1 dient zum Abtrocknen eines Tieres mit nassem Fell, insbesondere zum Abtrocknen eines schematisch dargestellten Hundes 2. Dabei besteht die Vorrichtung 1 einem Handtuch oder einem Bademantel entsprechend aus wasseraufnehmendem Stoff, insbesondere Frottiermaterial, wobei die Vorrichtung 1 so ausgebildet ist, daß der Hund 2 mit Ausnahme seines Kopfes 4 ganz umhüllt werden kann. Hierzu wird die Vorrichtung 1 von einem sackartigen Hüllkörper mit einer Halsöffnung 5 und einer von dieser ausgehenden Verschlußeinrichtung 6 gebildet, öffnet man die Verschlußeinrichtung 6, kann der Hund 2 in den Hüllkörper 3 gestellt werden. Bei verschlossener Verschlußeinrichtung 6 ragt nur noch der Kopf 4 heraus, da die Halsöffnung 5 den Hals des Hundes 2 umschließt.
